Who is winning, and the move
Interakt and AiSensy, which claim 100,000-plus and 210,000-plus businesses, are each moving in a different way. Interakt launched SOLO on 4 September 2026, an AI business team in which Ved answers customers on WhatsApp and Instagram and Tara handles marketing. AiSensy published a rupee explainer on 12 September 2026 on Meta making service messages chargeable from 1 October, at 0.145 rupees after 1,000 free per number each month.
The nearest competitors
Two competitors are worth watching. Wati sells its plans on AI allowance, from one Astra agent and 2,000 AI credits a month on Growth to unlimited agents and 20,000 credits on Business, with Shopify integration a $4.99 monthly extra. Gupshup's 23 September 2026 abandoned-cart post claims a 98 percent open rate on WhatsApp and three to five times the cart recovery of email, and credits only the abandonment rate to an outside body.
The opening
The pitch in this category rests on large numbers credited to no named study: Zoko says its AI can handle 80 percent of incoming chats, Interakt says businesses automate up to 80 percent of queries, AiSensy headlines 5X your revenue, and Gupshup claims a 98 percent open rate. Zoko shows Farmorg Foods adding 105,000 rupees in three months from 305 sales chats its AI assistant handled alone, with no order count, and AiSensy reports roughly 20 percent revenue growth for Radical TechMart, an industrial seller using its broadcasts, ads and AI lead qualification, with no period. Our read is that a newcomer wins on proof rather than scale, by publishing what neither case shows: the count of orders its AI closed for one brand, beside the period it took.
